The Class of '31 Clock gets a facelift

The Class of 1931 Clock atop the Hathorn Hall porch is a small but eye-catching Bates landmark. Yet for the last few months the clock had, as the saying goes, shown the correct time only twice a day. So the College took it down and repaired it (faulty relays was the diagnosis), and on Jan. 5 Physical Plant staff and a technician from Simplex-Grinnell re-installed the fixed face.
