Dinner Time

About 1,000 diners gave the College’s new Commons its first major test on the evening of Feb. 25 during the first dinner served to the entire campus community in the new space. “The building itself is an architectural symbol of what makes Bates so special,” said President Elaine Tuttle Hansen. “It is at once full of light, ennobling and inspiring, but also highly functional, designed for efficiency and sustainability.” [More...]
