Bates presents early-music concert
The ensemble “Music for a while” offers a program of Renaissance, Baroque and early classical music at Bates College.
The program includes songs by late-Renaissance composers John Dowland and Giulio Caccini, songs by Purcell, an aria by Bach and the cantata “Wer sehnet sich nach Kerker, Stein und Ketten” (“Who longs for dungeon, stone and chains”) by classical composer Telemann.
- Friday, March at 8 p.m.
- Olin Arts Center Concert Hall, 75 Russell St.
- Admission is $12 for general admission and $6 for seniors and non-Bates students.
