Edwards Dam breaching
The Kennebec Journal cites important research by Associate Professor of Economics Lynne Lewis and Jesse Lance Robbins ’06 that illuminates the financial impact of removing the Edwards Dam and the return of sea-run fish on the Kennebec River. According to the story, the estimated annual economic impact is now $27.6 million, versus $8.3 million before the dam removal.
