CANCELED: Race in a Post-Human World lecture
A talk scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, by author Lisa Nakamura has been canceled due to illness.
Titled Antisocial Media: Understanding Racism and Homophobia in a Digitally Connected World, Nakamura’s lecture was to be part of the series Race in a Post-Human World, sponsored by the Bates Lectures Committee. The committee hopes to reschedule Nakamura. The series will include two other lectures in 2011 and a dance performance, all of which will be open to the public at no cost.
