Though inclement weather is predicted for Friday, April 1, the Mount David Summit will proceed as scheduled. Afternoon events are scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Pettengill Hall, with choir and dance performances in the evening.

Bates College President Elaine Tuttle Hansen announced to the Bates community today that Associate Dean of the Faculty Pamela J. Baker, the College's Helen A. Papaioanou Professor of Biological Sciences, has accepted a two-year appointment as the institution’s vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty, effective July 1.

Corrie leads choir in Haydn's 'Lord Nelson Mass'

Five Bates faculty members, in a variety of fields, awarded tenure
