Liana Thompson joined us in April as the office coordinator at the Multifaith Chaplaincy. Prior to joining the Chaplaincy staff, Liana received an M.F.A. in theater and worked as a freelance dramaturg and literary manager. Her freelance work included projects at Hartford Stage in Connecticut and Company One in Boston. Liana is a graduate of a fellow NESCAC school, having received her bachelor’s degree from Williams in 2001.

We in the Multifaith Chaplaincy invite you to join us for our events event this year! We are open to engaging those of all (or no) religious backgrounds, and we offer a variety of opportunities for conversation and connection throughout the year. Please see our website for a full listing of our offerings.

Special events this fall include the annual Multifaith Banquet and the annual Andrews Lecture. The Multifaith Banquet is a chance for students, staff and faculty to come together to share what their religious heritages and spiritual journeys mean to them. Co-sponsored by Information and Library Services, the 2011 Andrews Lecture will feature Scott Belsky, author of the bestselling book Making Ideas Happen. He will lead us in a consideration of “Taking the Reins of Technology.” More information will appear on the Multifaith Chaplaincy webpage soon.
