Summer Newsletter 2011: Important Dates
- Opening of residence hall rooms: Unless authorized to return early because of athletics or other official college functions, returning students may not move into college housing before Friday, Sept. 2. Meals begin with dinner on Monday, Sept. 5.
- Convocation is scheduled to begin at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in front of Coram Library. As is our tradition, all first-year students and faculty will join in the procession for Convocation. All upperclass students and staff are urged to attend this formal opening of the academic year.
- Classes begin on Wednesday, Sept. 7.
- Student Activities Fair, featuring booths from our many student organizations, takes place in the Clifton Daggett Gray Athletic Building 9-11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7. This event is a good opportunity to learn more about extracurricular life on and off campus.
- Alumni Homecoming Weekend is scheduled for Sept. 23-24.
- Parents & Families Weekend is scheduled for Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
