Bates College administrative offices closed Thursday, March 1

Bates College administrative offices will be closed Thursday, March 1, 2012, because of a significant winter storm that’s expected to produce significant snow accumulation and create hazardous driving conditions throughout the day.

Only those employees designated in advance as essential should report for work.

The Bobcat Den, Milt’s and DIning Services’ catering department won’t be operating today, but Commons will be open for its regular hours.

Please note that the city of Lewiston has declared an emergency parking ban effective until 6 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012.
