Miura seeks brass players for New York premiere
Calling all brass players!
Hiroya Miura, director of the college orchestra and a widely known composer, is presenting the world premiere of a piece, on Dec. 21 in Harlem, that requires two groups of brass musicians to march and interact with the streetscape and the carillon at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.
