The Department of History welcomes Lydia Barnett, who will be teaching courses on Renaissance and Enlightenment Europe and also the history of science.
Jennifer Adair and Paul Eason will be returning to teach courses in Latin American and Japanese history.
We wish Hilmar Jensen and Karen Melvin restful and research-ful years of leave. And we bid farewell to Jason Thompson, who returns to Egypt and North Carolina after two years teaching with us.
