Senior Thesis Exhibition 2016: The exhibition highlights work selected from the thesis projects of 12 seniors majoring in studio art. Projects vary from student to student as each pursues an individual interest. The program emphasizes the creation of a cohesive body of related works through sustained studio practice and critical inquiry.

April 8–Aug. 27

David C. Driskell: The Doorway Portfolio: Twelve serigraphs by artist and art scholar David C. Driskell, exploring the notion of the doorway “as a passage between two worlds,” are shown with 12 pages of handset letterpress prose by Michael Alpert, a writer, book designer and artist. Driskell’s dynamic prints include both pictorial and abstract representations.
