Child welfare advocate to speak

Michael Petit, deputy director of Child Welfare of America, discusses Breaking the Link Between Child Maltreatment and Youth Violence Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m. in Chase Hall’s Hirasawa Lounge. Petit’s talk is sponsored by the psychology and sociology departments, as well as Advocates for Children. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
