For the second time this year, Bates College has released a CD of music by pianist Frank Glazer, an internationally known musician who has been an artist in residence at Bates since 1980. Titled “Schubert-Brahms-Beethoven” and comprising one piece of music by each composer, the disk presents, for the first time, recordings that Glazer made in 1998.

Works by noted choreographers Monica Bill Barnes and Niles Ford are featured in Bates College Modern Dance Company performances at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13; 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14; and 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, in Schaeffer Theatre, 305 College St.

The exhibits “Les Femmes du Maroc: An Exhibition by Lalla Essaydi,” featuring photographs based on 19th-century Orientalist paintings, and “Metamorphoses: A Collaboration with Ovid by Wally Reinhardt,” a collection of gouache paintings interpreting writings of the Roman poet, open Oct. 8 at the Bates College Museum of Art.
