Senior to perform violin, fiddle, in thesis concert

Senior Amy Chandler, a music major from New Sharon, will perform a thesis concert of violin and fiddle music April 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall. The public is invited and admission is free.

Modern Dance Company to perform annual spring concert

The Bates Modern Dance Company, under the artistic guest direction of Lionel Popkin, presents its annual spring concert in a series of three performances March 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. and March 29 at 2 p.m. in Schaeffer Theatre. Tickets are $6 for general admission and $3 for seniors.

College Choir performs 'Messiah'

Bates to stage "The Seagull"

Asheville student named Philip J. Otis Fellow

Matthew Ensner, a Bates College sophomore from Asheville, N.C., has been named a Philip J. Otis Fellow and will receive a $5,000 grant for research and travel to promote greater understanding of environmental issues and the connection between the environment and spirituality.
