Here is some familiar and some late-breaking news from Information and Library Services this summer:

1. You all experienced the migration to Google Apps for Education:

We continue to develop the Campus Connect resources site. Stay tuned for later phases of this project that is improving communications on the campus.

2. We are starting the phased project to improve the coverage and speed of the wireless network, this summer concentrating on the large student residences.

3. In preparation for remodeling Ladd Library into the Learning Commons, we welcome the Math and Statistics Workshop to its new ground-floor location in Ladd. To make this happen we have moved all volumes of bound journals to Ground Floor Lower Level, and call numbers Q-Zs to Ground Floor Upper Level.

4. Open House for First-Years at the library on Tues, Sept 11, 8-10 p.m. Find out about the people and services that will help you succeed here while having fun, snacking and participating in a flash mob celebrating your arrival!
