Theater at Bates stages six performances of 'Later Life'

Theater at Bates will stage A.R. Gurney's "Later Life" at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 in the Black Box Theater. Jonathan Adler, a Bates sophomore from West Newton, Mass., is directing the Robinson Players production about growing and loving and whether in later life we are simply exaggerations and extensions of our earlier selves. The play also will be performed at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday Oct. 10 and 11 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 12.
