This World War II propaganda poster produced by the U.S. was the Dec. 8, 2012, entry on the Cooper-Hewitt blog Object of the Day. The poster's color choice, Matthew Kennedy explains sacrifices "traditionally patriotic reds and blues in favor of a more arresting hue, intended to bolster emotion." Poster: Give ‘Em Both Barrels.
