Performing two separate programs twice, the Bates College Modern Dance Company presents the results of an innovative collaboration with theatrical lighting designers Friday, March 30, through Monday, April 2.

Robert VerEecke, artistic director and choreographer of Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble and pastor of St. Ignatius Church in Newton, Mass., will discuss "A Dancer and Choreographer's Perspective" as part of a new Bates College lecture series, "Spiritual Journeys: Stories of the Soul," at 4:30 p.m., Oct. 30, in the Benjamin Mays Center. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
