Maine environmental protection professional to discuss mercury in Maine's environment

Ellen E. Parr Doering, chief of the air toxics section of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, will deliver a lecture titled Mercury in Maine's Environment April 23 at 7 p.m. in Room 204 of Carnegie. The public is invited and admission is free.

Maine Bird Conference to be held at Bates

Amateur and professional ornithologists from around the state will gather Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, at Bates for the annual Maine Bird Conference sponsored by the college and the Stanton Bird Club.
