Friday October 2, 1998 1:44 pm	Maine gubernatorial candidates to debate at Bates Maine’s five candidates for governor will discuss their views in a televised debate at Bates College Friday, Oct. 16, at 9 p.m. in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall. Admission is by ticket only. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting Monday, Oct. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bates College Office of Special Projects, 163 Wood Street, Lewiston. No phone reservations will be accepted.
