Tuesday December 12, 2000 2:44 pm	Victoria Wyeth to discuss Andrew Wyeth Exhibit Victoria Wyeth, granddaughter of famed painter Andrew Wyeth and guest curator of the “Andrew Wyeth: Her Room” exhibit at Bates College, will discuss his work and the exhibit at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, and Sunday, Dec. 10, in the Bates College Museum of Art, Olin Arts Center.
Tuesday July 27, 1999 12:00 am	"Sigmund Abeles: The Artist and His Prints" opens “Sigmund Abeles: The Artist and His Prints: 1954-1999,” featuring 70 prints from more than 200 works the artist has given to the Bates College Museum of Art, will be on view Aug. 13 through Sept. 19. A catalog representing the first complete listing of Abeles’ prints will be available at the exhibition. Abeles will speak about his life and work at the Bates College Museum of Art Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in room 104 of the Olin Arts Center.

The exhibition, on view through Friday, Dec. 18, highlights Colker’s career-long collaboration with poets with nearly 50 lithographs and etchings.

A reception inaugurating the exhibition will follow Arthur’s talk. The public is invited to attend both events free of charge.
