Bates music students to perform

Bates College continues its Noonday Concert series with a student performance of experimental music from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall on Russell Street. The performance will feature several unconventional compositions, including Lou Harrison's "Threnody for Carlos Chavez" for viola and Indonesian gamelan.
