Due to deteriorating road conditions caused by the ongoing snow storm, the administrative offices of the college will close at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 14. Only essential personnel should report for the 2nd and 3rd shifts, if applicable. Dining Services will be available. Classes will be held unless specifically canceled by the instructor. Students should check e-mail and Lyceum to determine if individual classes have been canceled by the instructor. In addition, please check the Bates web site for storm related updates.

Due to the snowstorm, the city of Lewiston has announced a parking ban on all city streets effective at noon today, Jan. 14, until 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15.

Essential employees are advised to park only in Bates’ parking lots.
