Bates doubly recognized for community engagement

A longtime leader in building community engagement into the liberal arts education, Bates recently received national recognition for that work from both a federal agency and a major foundation.

For the sixth year in a row, Bates College has received prominent federal recognition for the quality of its engagement with the community.
