Bates art museum exhibition 'Green Horizons' closes Dec. 9

Usually closed on Sundays, the Bates College Museum of Art will open its doors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 9 to provide visitors with one last chance to experience “Green Horizons,” a landmark exhibition exploring the concept of environmental sustainability.

Holography pioneer exhibits work at Museum of Art

University of Chicago scholar offers lecture on Bates College Museum of Art exhibit

Wu Hung, professor in the College of the Humanities at the University of Chicago, offers a lecture on the Bates College Museum of Art exhibit “Documenting China: Contemporary Photography and Social Change” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 12, in the Lower Gallery of the museum, Olin Arts Center, 75 Russell St.
