2009: Making his fourth trip to NCAAs in four years…. Ranked seventh overall on the EISA circuit, earning Second Team All-East honors…. Won his third career EISA race in the freestyle at the UNH Carnival…. Finished second in the freestyle at the UVM Carnival.
2008: Finished fourth out of 38 racers in the 10K Free Technique Race at NCAA Championships with a time of 31:20.0, earning his first All-America honors…. He was one of only three Americans in the top 10 and the only one from a Division III school…. Won his first All-America honors for his top-10 finish, after missing out on the honor by 0.3 seconds in the 10K Free in 2007…. Had an 18th-place showing in the 20K Mass Start Classic Technique race with a time of 1:05.59…. Won EISA All-East First Team honors…. Won the 10K Freestyle at the Williams Carnival to become the first Bates skier to win an EISA carnival race…. Followed that the next week with another first-place finish in the 10K Freestyle race at the Eastern Championships at Middlebury…. Named Bates Male Athlete of the Year.
2007: Competed in the NCAA Skiing Championships for the second time in as many years…. Placed 11th at NCAAs in the 10K Free Technique race in 26:17.0 in zero-degree temperatures, only 0.3 seconds behind Even Sletten of the University of Utah for 10th place and All-America laurels…. Placed 27th in the Men’s 20K Free Classic race at the NCAA Skiing Championships in 59:18.4, 3.1 seconds behind Alaska-Anchorage’s Paul Schauer and two places better than his finish in the same event last year in Colorado. He ranked seventh among skiers from Eastern colleges…. Earned EISA Second Team All-East honors…. Named a 2007 All-Academic All-American, for athletes with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the fall semester who competed in the regional championships.
2006: At the NCAA Championships, finished 22nd of 39 competitors in the men’s 10K freestyle race (30:35.8) and 29th (59:53.9) in the men’s classic 20K.
