Woodson Elected To Play In Senior Bowl
LEWISTON, Maine -- Senior midfielder Nicole Woodson of Walpole, Mass., has been selected to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association's (NEWISA) Senior Bowl game.
The game, which features top seniors from all three NCAA divisions as selected by the organizations coaches, will be played Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. at Wellesley College.
Woodson was a co-captain of the 13-3-1 Bobcats' women's soccer team that finished among the top eight in the NCAA Division III tournament and tied the school record for wins in a season. Woodson scored two goals and was second on the team with six assists. She ends her Bates career wtih five goals and 15 assists for 25 points.
Woodson is a 1993 graduate of Walpole High School. She is the daughter of Roger and Maureen Woodson of 372 Pemberton St., Walpole.
