**NEWLY EXTENDED ALUMNI INTERVIEW REQUEST DEADLINE: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2009**

For prospective students who can't make it to campus, Bates can arrange an interview with an alum. These interviews are available throughout the U.S. and in many foreign countries. They carry the same weight as an interview on campus.

Regular decision applicants must request an alumni interview by Dec. 1, 2009 and complete their alumni interview by Jan. 1, 2010
Fall 2010 International Transfer applicants must request an alumni interview by Dec. 1, 2009 and complete their alumni interview by Jan. 1, 2010
Fall 2010 Domestic Transfer applicants must request an alumni interview by Feb. 15, 2010 and complete their alumni interview by Mar. 1, 2010

Some specifics:

• Interviews are for seniors only
• You may interview only one time — on-campus or off-campus.
• Appointments are necessary. To request an alumni interview, please call Admissions directly (207)786-6000.
  Please note that requests will not be scheduled until after August 1st.
• For International Applicants only you may request your alumni interview via email admissions@bates.edu. In your email, please include the following: first name, middle name, last name, mailing address, high school, and date of birth.
