Facilities at Bates College meet the needs of the entire Bates community - from residence halls and houses, to Ladd Library to athletic facilities.
Bates students live on-campus in one of our 25 residential houses or nine residence halls. Ninety percent live on-campus. Bates has never had fraternities or sororities.
Ladd Library, one arm of Information and Library Services, houses an extensive print, recorded, and electronic collection with access to materials at other libraries.
Athletic facilities at Bates are numerous, and many have been built or updated in the last two years.
