Built 1953; 2,400 square feet

Pettigrew Hall is named for Mrs. Charlotte Neal Pettigrew, '95, whose bequest made its construction possible. The building is home to the departments of English and theater and rhetoric. The building also houses the Filene Room lecture hall, often used for movie showings on weekends; Gannett Theater, site of smaller and experimental theatrical performances and a video editing room.
