I’m back at Bates after graduating from here many, many years ago. Since graduating, I received a Master’s degree in physics from UMass Amherst, and worked for a spell in industry analyzing the vulnerability of semiconductor devices to ionizing radiation. I returned to Bates following eleven frenetic years teaching high school physics and chemistry.
