How to Adult
Brought to you by Residence Life and Purposeful Work…
How to Adult is a multi-part workshop series to prepare you with skills for life after college.
Bates Dining’s Executive Chef Owen Keene and Sous Chef Mike Staffenski led students (and eager-to-learn staff!) in this Short Term session of How to Adult at the grocery store and in the kitchen. Smart and healthy shopping, prepping your vegetables and meats, and recipes to take home. Delicious, simple foods were on the menu, and we will definitely expand this adulting theme for next year!
We know, we know. You don’t want to think about it. But you’ve told us loud and clear that when it gets real, your biggest fear is how to make and keep friends after Bates. How does it work when you’re not 24/7 living and eating with hundreds of your peers and your best friends? We’ve got your back.
