September 30: Proposals for new Winter 2013 courses due from newly hired faculty
October 15: Short Term 2013 new course proposals due
October 31: Short Term 2013 grid proposals due from department/program chairs
November 2: Last day for withdrawal from Fall 2012 semester courses (drops)
November 3 – 9: Registration for Winter 2013 semester
November 15: Draft Short Term 2013 schedule available for faculty review;Proposals for new Fall 2013 FYSs due November 16: Petitions due to faculty for Winter 2013 semester courses
November 30: Petitions due from faculty for Winter 2013 semester courses; Corrections to the draft Short Term 2013 schedule due
December 3, 7:00 am: Winter 2013 registration adjustment period (add/drop) opens for all students
December 7: Short Term 2013 schedule posted on the web
December 7, 4:00 pm: Classes end, Fall 2012 semester
December 8 – 26: Course evaluation
December 11, 8:00 am: Final Examinations begin
December 15, 12:30 pm: Final Examinations end
December 26: Fall 2012 Final Grades due from faculty
December 27: Fall 2012 Final Grades available for student viewing on Garnet Gateway
January 4: Grids available in Garnet Gateway for Fall 2013, Winter 2014, and Short Term 2014
January 7, 8:00 am: Classes begin, Winter 2013 semester
January 15: Proposals for new Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 courses due from returning faculty; 2013 – 2014 Catalog matter sent to department/program chairs and concentration coordinators for review
January 18: Last day for Winter 2013 registration adjustments (adds)
January 21: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – workshops take the place of classes.
January 31: Fall 2013, Winter 2014, and Short Term 2014 grid proposals due from department/program chairs
February 1: Deadline for students to confirm off-campus study (including all study abroad) for AY 13 – 14
February 2 – 8: Registration for Short Term 2013 off-campus and alternate-date courses
February 15: Draft Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 schedules available for faculty review
February 27: Corrections to the draft Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 schedules due
March 1: Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 schedules posted on the web
