Sonshine, Sive receive All-America honors in rowing

Bates College seniors Elizabeth Sonshine and Haley Sive were both cited on Tuesday as the College Rowing Coaches Association released the 2012 Division III Pocock All-America Team.

Men’s rowing has best day ever at NICR/ECAC’s The Bates men’s rowing team fielded three boats and made the Grand Final with all three for the first time on Friday at the National Invitational Collegiate Regatta and ECAC Rowing Championships, including a thrilling second-place finish in the men’s varsity eights, in the finest day ever at NICR for the Bobcat crew.
