Caitlin Murphy

2007: Started 24 games…. Concluded the season with 17 hits, 15 runs scored, and two stolen bases…. In March, Murphy three for four, driving in two runs against Eastern Nazarene. 

2006: Started 32 games….. Concluded the season with 21 hits, 22 runs scored, and six stolen bases…. In April, Murphy went two for four, driving in two runs against Amherst College.

2005: Started 22 games…69 at-bats…10 runs batted in…2 home runs…batting average: .290…3 stolen bases out of 4 attempts

High School: Murphy was a shortsop for the varsity softball team, a point guard for the varsity basketball team, and a member of the varsity swim team, competing in the IM, fly, and relays; she served as a captain for all three teams.  Featured in the Daily News Transcript, Murphy was recognized as a 4-year MVP.  She qualified as All-Star for softball and basketball, scoring 1,000 points in her high school basketball career.  Academically, she qualified for the Honor Roll.  She was vice-president of the Student Council and a member of the S.A.D.D.

Personal: Has volunteered in the America Reads and Counts program as a tutor and the Trinity Soup Kitchen.
