High School: Brown was a three sport athlete.  She was a pitcher and outfielder on the softball team, a midfield and forward on the soccer team, and a member of the hockey team her sophomore year.  Brown had the following honors as a high school athlete: All SMAA Second Team 2003 (softball), State Champion 2004 (softball), soccer captain, Coaches Award 2003, and All Academic 2003.  The Portland Press Herald interviewed Brown during her high school career.  Academically, Brown qualified for the honor role and the National Honor Society.  Brown also served as Student Council President and Class Secretary, in high school.

Personal: Brown volunteers her time in a program called Bates Buddies.
