Molly Ritner

2007: Named Academic All-America by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, for maintaining a minimum 3.50 grade point average for the 2006-07 academic year and contributing to the team…. Started 10 games…. In April, Ritner went one for three and drove in a run against Colby College.
2006: Started 11 times…. In March, Ritner went two for three, driving in a run against Mount Ida College.
High School: Molly Ritner was a defender and goalie of the varsity soccer team, a catcher and 3rd baseman of the varsity softball team, and a guard on the basketball team for all four years. Ritner served as captain for the soccer and softball team, also qualifying as an All Main Line Honorable Mention and 2nd team member. She was recognized as the Most Improved Player, her junior year, for softball. Senior year, her soccer team won the Inter-AcTournament. Her softball team won the Inter-Ac Tournament, three times. In addition to sports, Ritner was in her school’s jazz band and orchestra. She also served as a tour guide.
Personal: Ritner qualified for the Dean’s list her first semester. She is a member of the Darfur Action Coalition.
