2008: Named to All-NESCAC First Team…. Led the team in most offensive categories, including batting average (.395), home runs (5), RBIs (19), slugging percentage (.628) and on-base percentage (.447)….. Saniuk ranked sixth in the NESCAC in slugging, tied for sixth in the conference in home runs, and ranked 10th in the NESCAC in both batting average and on-base percentage…. Saniuk set the Bates career home runs record early in the season with her 14th, and extended it to 17 career homers before the season ended…..She also already owns the Bates record for career total bases (166) and is tied with Rachel Clayton ’90 for the career extra-base hits record, with 37.


2007: Named All-NESCAC Second Team for the second straight year…. Started 24 games…. Concluded the season with an impressive 23 hits, three home runs, and 19 RBIs…. Saniuk took a total of 39 bases and ended the season with a .329 batting average…. In April, Saniuk went two for two, driving in a total of four runs against Trinity.


2006: Named NESCAC Rookie of the Year and voted Second Team All-NESCAC…. Set Bates single-season records with 9 home runs and 73 total bases, while batting .371 with 28 RBIs…. Went 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs against Trinity on April 29.


High School: Saniuk was a four-year letterman, catcher, first baseman, and third baseman on the softball team.  She was recognized as an All-Star in the Hockomock League in her sophomore through senior years, as captain in her senior year, and as one of the leading hitters in the Boston area.   Saniuk was interviewed for the Sharon Advocate and the Boston Globe.


Personal: Saniuk is in the Robinson Players and works as an electrician for the Bates Theater Department.
