Anne Marie Byrne
Administrative Assistant, Accessible Education and Student Support
In addition to providing day-to-day administrative support to the Assistant Dean of Accessible Education and Support, Anne Marie works with faculty for the collection and dissemination of student Academic Performance Warnings (APW) and communicates with faculty, area deans, and students regarding related strategies for APW advising.
Prior to joining Bates as the assistant to Dean James Reese in 2008, Anne Marie worked as a research assistant at the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement, Cutler Institute for Child and Family Policy. She holds a a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Southern Maine, and a master’s degree in public policy and management from USM’s Muskie School of Public Service.
