Students are responsible for getting paid in a timely manner. Students should review the payroll information below and select the headers for more details.
In order to get paid, student workers must record the hours they work on an electronic time sheet located on Garnet Gateway.
All student workers on campus are paid through direct deposit. Direct deposit means that every pay day, students’ money is electronically transferred directly to their bank account (either checking or savings) and that students do not receive a paper pay check.
The student payroll is on a bi-weekly schedule, beginning on a Sunday. Payments are made the Friday following the end of the last pay period. To have their payment deposited on time, students must submit their electronic time sheet by midnight on the Saturday of the pay period end date.
There are three grades in the student pay scale. Each position is graded by the complexity of the responsibilities outlined in the position description.
