ADV: Advancement Communications Intern (S9662C)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Advancement Communications Intern(s) will assist the Director of Advancement Communications with a broad range of tasks, including, but not limited to, producing email and Web analytics reports, editing and updating WordPress web pages, and helping to gather information through Web research. Interns will be required to work at least five hours a week, with the option for more hours. This is an excellent opportunity for students who have an interest in statistics and communications analytics.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities

Requirements


Required: Applicants must be Bates students. Interns must excel at writing, have an excellent command of the English language, and be extremely detail-oriented, responsible, computer-savvy, and able to work independently. Interns must be skilled in the use of Excel/Google Sheets and have a working knowledge of statistics. Preference will be given to applicants who know how to edit WordPress pages, as well as use use Word, Google Docs, Indesign, and Photoshop.
