BCO: Creative Web Assistant (S9979C)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

Have your friends ever called your “artsy” more than once? Same here. Have you ever designed posters, websites, or logos? What is the coolest video project you’ve every made? Do you come up with cool ideas and blog about them in your spare time? What’s your favorite video on Vimeo? Are you sharing some cool photos on Flickr right now? Do you know your way around Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and/or WordPress? Can you tell me what PHP, HTML, or CSS means?

If you’re interested, you’ll need to be able to work toward project deadlines. Also, the work can sometimes happen under a lot of creative, encouraging, and self-guided pressure. The position sometimes even involves night/evening work hours. Why you ask? Because we love Bates as much as you do! The folks in CMR are all a bunch of highly skilled, highly creative designers, communicators, photographers, and writers. We have some very cool, but challenging, projects on the horizon and we are seeking creative-minded student workers to help us promote Bates to our various constituencies.
