Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

Create designs for college publications primarily the school catalog, summer calendar of events and various brochures as needed.  Prep disks for service bureau or printer output.

Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

Scan images, retrieve slides and files from archives, make photocopies and printouts of files


NOTE: The Office of College Relations is responsible for the news, publications and Web site for the College.  Staff includes writers and journalists, photographers, designers and systems coordinator for the web.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities


EDUCATION: Art or design classes EXPERIENCE: Art or design experience; good sense of visual design; experience with at least one of the following software packages; Microsoft Word, CS suite; Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience with layout of print publications, organization skills, and attention to detail


REPORTS TO: Manager of Design Services COORDINATES/WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Design staff and other CMR staff
