Calculus Tutor ()
Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
I am a graduate of Leavitt Area High School, Class of 2012 and am now almost 19. I graduated 9th in my class with high honors and was set to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the fall of 2012, when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The surgery was successful in removing the tumor, and I am hoping to begin my college education as soon as possible. I am looking for a Calculus Tutor to help me review and refresh my memory in Calculus A and part way through Calculus B. The applicant should be proficient in Calculus as well as have the ability to communicate that knowledge and the patience to work with a student in my condition. At this point in my rehabilitation process, I have a visual impairment as a result of the surgery, which requires me to wear magnifiers on occasion in order to read small text and formulas. I occasionally struggle with some short-term memory issues/loss. The tutor should have a car to travel to either Auburn or Greene, preferably, between 3 PM and 6 PM. I am an energetic but not hyper person who is eager to begin his college life. Compensation and scheduling are negotiable.
