Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Web Assistant will design the website for Martin Luther King Day. He or she will work effectively with committee members to evaluate and publish content of past MLK Day events. He or she will also proactively and regularly communicate the status and any issues that may occur with the website and will be required to learn and implement Bates core site standards, including structure, grammar, and presentation styles. The Web Assistant must be able to manage tasks independently.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities


REQUIRED: EDUCATION: High school graduate EXPERIENCE: The Web Assistant must have knowledge of web standards, best practices, and structural markup. He or she must also have basic photo editing skills and be familiar with Ingeniux. DESIRED: EXPERIENCE: Experience with web navigation, publishing tools, and Photo Shop
