DOS: Proofreader (S9900A)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

This student will proofread papers and written assignments for certified LD students prior to submissions of course work.

Typists: Typists are needed on occasions when a student has an injured writing hand or has had a recent hand or shoulder surgery and needs to complete a written/typed assignment OR for a student with a permanent physical disability.

Recorders: Recorders are needed on occasions when an LD student or impaired student needs material such as reserved readings or other printed material that is not available through Recording for the Blind.

REQUIRED: Proficiency in spelling and use of English Grammar EDUCATION: The Proofreader must be proficient in spelling and use of English grammar.
