Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Nutrition Coordinator will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team of CHEWS committee members charged with educating students about healthy food choices and wellness as well as helping to enrich the social existence of students. Duties include developing, coordinating and presenting monthly events in Commons, producing weekly educational articles for napkin ads in Commons and submitting monthly articles to the “Bates Student” newspaper.

Requirements


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: The Nutrition Coordinator must have advanced skills in Photoshop. A working knowledge of and passion for healthy food and wellness, creativity, excellent writing skills and good communication skills are essential.

REPORTS TO: Cheryl Lacey, Director of Dining. COORDINATES / WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Dining Service Communication and Student Employment Coordinator, other Dining staff, students, Bates staff and faculty and external customers. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
