DIN: Cash Operation Worker (S9612B)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Cash Operation Worker will be expected to take orders, run a cash register, brew coffee, cook using a grill and stock coolers rotate product, clean at the end of the shift including sweeping, mopping and busing tables. Students are also asked to prepare condiments including chopping and slicing vegetables, etc. Positions are available primarily in the Den but students may also be asked to work in Milt’s as needed.

Hours Available:

Hours available are Saturday and Sundays3:00PM-7:00PM, 9:00PM-2:00AM and 9:00PM-3:00AM, through Fridays from 4:30PM-7:30PM, 9:00PM – 2:00 AM and Friday 9:00PM-3:00AM. Student workers typically take 2-4 shifts for a total of 6-20 hours per week.

REQUIRED: EDUCATION: Bates Student EXPERIENCE: This student will undergo knife and sanitation training. DESIRED: EXPERIENCE: Service such as wait staff or short order cooking

REPORTS TO: Cheryl Lacey COORDINATES/WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Milt's Supervisor and staff, other Dining staff, other student workers, students, staff, faculty and external customers

Responsibilities
