HCCP: Assistant for Policy Initiatives ( S9999A)
Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
The Student Assistant for Policy Initiatives will assist Peggy Rotundo, Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives, at the Harward Center through general administrative support. Because of the scope and nature of the Harward Center, the Student Assistant for Policy Initiatives needs to possess the ability to take a project from start to completion without specific input from Harward Center staff and therefore must be a self-starter. It is likely that the pace of the Center will require the student to manage his/her own time. In addition, this position will require the student to create and implement an archival process for policy files and a publicity plan for the Civic Forum Series. The Student Assistant must be independent, task-oriented, and reliable.
- Please Note: This student should have his or her own computer/laptop, as work stations are limited at the Center.
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Assist with publicizing Harward Center events
- Prepare materials and perform support work for community projects
- Assist with mailings and mailing lists
- Type up correspondence
- Answer and place calls
- File
- Run general errands
